AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR ISSUANCE OF A qualified 501(c)(3) BONDS
BY THE WASHINGTON HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AUTHORITY[1]
The Washington Health Care Facilities Authority (the “Authority”) will hold a public hearing using a toll free telephone number at the date and time designated below regarding the proposed issuance by the Authority of one or more series of its qualified 501(c)(3) bonds, as defined in Section 145 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”), for health care facilities, in an original aggregate principal amount not-to-exceed $135,000,000 (the “Bonds”). The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to Seattle Children’s Hospital (the “Borrower”), a Washington nonprofit corporation and a “501(c)(3) organization” (as defined in the Code), for the purpose of providing all or part of the funds necessary to:
(a) refund a portion of the Authority’s Revenue Bonds, Series 2015A (Seattle Children’s Hospital), and a portion of the Authority’s Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 2015B (Seattle Children’s Hospital) (the “Series 2015B Bonds”), which Series 2015B Bonds refunded the Authority’s Revenue Bonds, Series 2009 (Seattle Children’s Hospital) and the Authority’s Revenue Bonds, Series 2008C (Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center) (the “Series 2008C Bonds”), which Series 2008C Bonds were used to pay and retire a taxable line of credit incurred by the Borrower to refund the Authority’s Revenue Bonds, Series 2006C (Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center) (all of the foregoing, the “Prior Bonds”); and
(b) pay issuance costs of the Bonds.
The Prior Bonds were issued to finance or refinance health care facilities at the locations listed below (collectively, the “Projects” and each, a “Project”). The Projects are owned and operated by the Borrower.
The combined total of the maximum principal amounts listed below for the Projects exceeds the total maximum principal amount of Bonds that may be issued to refinance the Projects, due to rounding. The total maximum principal amount of Bonds that may be issued is $135,000,000.

The health care facilities described above are all located in the State of Washington.
A public hearing with respect to the proposed issuance of the Bonds will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 5, 2025, through the use of a telephone conference. All interested persons are invited to listen to, and participate in, the public hearing by calling into the teleconference using the toll-free number 1-833-276-9446 and entering participant code 1212. In order to facilitate registration of participants to the teleconference, it is requested that such persons call the above number no later than 9:55 a.m. (five minutes before start time). Written comments can be submitted to the Authority via email at shannong@whcfa.wa.gov, no later than 9:30 a.m. (30 minutes before start time) on the date of the public hearing.

[1] This notice amends that certain TEFRA notice previously posted on May 23, 2025, by (a) adding certain locations (Seattle Children’s Sand Point Clinic, Home Care Services, Magnuson Clinic, Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic and Autism Center), (b) removing one location (South Clinic in Federal Way) and (c) revising all amounts in the “Maximum Principal Amount” column.
